In 1996, the Artists Collective took a major step forward with its new facility expressly designed to meet the needs of the Collective's programs. The new building will be located in the Upper Albany Avenue and will be a key component of the economic development of the North End section of Hartford and the City of Hartford.

Designed by the internationally renowned architects Tai Soo Kim Associates, the new cultural arts center houses The Artists Collective's training programs for dance, drama, music, and visual arts - as well as administrative and rehearsal space. The building will also include 450 - seat multi-purpose theater for dance, drama and musical productions, special events, and community meetings.
