Seeking the Highlight
Thirty five years of seeking the highlight.
Thirty five years of self portraits.
Visual questions and verbal images.
Always asking Why?
The images I create are fine art black and white from film, statements made with light by a passionate observer.
I am available for portraits, you can be art, advertising, publication, performing arts or art for your collection. I also shoot color with the same passion. All images are printed full frame and un-manipulated

Iconography is a fundamental liturgical art originating in the earliest days of the Christian Church. Developed, practiced and preserved primarily by the Eastern Rite, iconography provides authentic, meaningful and dignified images which exemplify the larger consciousness of the Christian Church. Icons carry a patrimony of both theology and art, conveying essential dogmatic and biographical information, embodying the presence of the holy ones depicted.
This studio's icons are written by the hand of iconographer Marek Czarnecki, who continues to study under the tutelage of Russian Orthodox iconographer Ksenia Pokrovsky, within the Izograph School which she founded in Moscow.

Floyd works in collage, producing as sophisticated a choreography of shape, color and
texture as you are likely to see. Her new exhibit is testament to an intriguing marriage
of subtlety, empathy, patience and grace. As much as it is about design, her work is also
an archive of things saved--things found, things given, things rescued, and things so
carefully kept. Patricia Rosoff (Hartford Advocate)

Diana Lyn Cote, a skilled adherent of Impressionism-style handling and content. Using oil stick as her medium, Cote builds luscious garden scenes, interiors and landscapes in bright palettes. She concentrates on light effects, suggests atmosphere and breezes, just like her 19th century antecedents. Particularly discerning is her observation of sunlight. She is inventive in her description, registering its rays from uncommon angles.
