The Elm City Girls' Choir provides an opportunity for girls in the greater New Haven community to sing choral music at the highest possible artistic standard. Choir members work as a team with their peers in a professional ensemble environment. Members are chosen from diverse cultural, racial, and socio economic backgrounds based on their extraordinary talent and motivation. The Elm City Girls' Choir provides musicianship training through the study of primarily a cappella repertoire and formal instruction leading to music literacy.
