We've got to stop meeting like this, people will begin to talk. This is the long awaited fifth edition of the TIMES and to tell you the truth, we couldn't be happier! So many things are happening in the strange world and with our little periodical that we just have to let you in on it all. What's new in our lineup? Good question, check out our calling for guitar players (p.3). We want to have two guitarists in our roster and it looks like we have our work cut out tor us. Check out the rest of our cool columns in this issue. Surf the internet, learn about other local bands, or just thumb througll the classifie~s. What ever your tastes dictate. I ley let us know what you like, you know how to get in touch with us, let your eyes travel to the bottom of the front page for our scheduled appearances and mailing address. Now to the Big Question we keep getting asked, "Why aren't we on the cover of Rolling Stone yet?" Because John refuses to show his naked butt. But we're working on it. We need help from all of you-- every little thing you do is magic. When you come see us at shows or mention us to your friends, it helps. That's how Phish made it. Their fans made it undeniable to everyone that they are worth listening to. Support local original music, or join a Flock of Seagulls tribute act. The choice is yours.
