Well, kids, gather round. mama has a tall tale to tell. told to her by a dear old friend, and it's called The Dog and the Spoon.. by the tinman from tinsletownWhy is it that people can be so cruel? They like to be in control, what does this do for them?
A brain is not all that complex - when you really think about it. A thought comes in to play, you act on that thought or you don't
If it's a negative thought restrain, positive follow through.
I know it's easy enough to say.
But what I'm really trying to say is we're no better than the person standing next to us, or the person standing on the complete other side of this place we call earth.
Of course we can become a product of our envirment.
It's like that dog that is called nicely, "Come here boy, come on, good boy, good boy."
Then when he comes to you, you slap the shit out of him, only to then find him running from you and hiding under the table.
Repeat this pattern and eventually you're going to get bitten, and you deserve to, for giving him a nice name like Laddy, Rex, Duke, or Fido... but what's his real name?
Bastard, just because you had a bad day at work.
"Bad boy, Bad boy, BAD BOY!"
Somehow we have to try to learn to reach deep inside of our hearts that have hardened;
Try our best at softening them up a little.
Remember days gone by when you were a little kid, and someone was in the kitchen baking a cake? It wasn't the cake that was coming to your tiny, anticipating, and waiting fingers that you enjoyed.
The best part of that cake came long before it was baked. You know what I'm talking about.
It was the spoon...
...Licking that spoon, the temporary-yet-satisfying sweet mixture that you knew you could only get in small quantities.
Well, that's how life should always be. Enjoying the little things. By doing this the world might actually be a much better place for all of us to enjoy together. But make sure to share that spoon with your brothers and sisters."Good boy, goooooood boy"
