Judy Dworin Performance Ensemble

Wheel Founded in 1989 by artistic director Judy Dworin, the The Judy Dworin Performance Ensemble is a Hartford - based group of dancers, designers, artists and musicians dedicated to the development of challenging and innovative performance. The work focuses on contemporary issues, including gender and the environment. It seeks to expand awareness and inspire change through cross - cultural investigation and the integration of various art disciplines. The Ensemble has developed a Community Residency Program that works in the schools, social service organizations and senior centers based on the belief that art making encourages individual growth and builds a spirit of community.
